December 2009

  • Friday 4th December  - SILVER 7 - 8 and RED TEAM 8 - 9pm practice - Tim Coaching Tumble 7 -8pm first class and 8 - 9.30pm second class. These classes will run in conjunction with each other on this day. Silver and Red Team fees due in.
  • Sunday 6th December - NO RED or SILVER Team practice December fees due in - Everyone regular cheer and dance fees. Tumble class is pay as you go for everyone throughout December £5 per session.
  • Friday 11th December Tim coaching Tumble
  • Sunday 13th December - Deadline for ICC Southern Regional Bus Money £15 per person. CRUSADERS SHOP
  • Saturday 19th December - Dance Teams Fundraiser and performance - Greenway Centre 1pm - Stall 10am - 4pm.
  • Sunday 20th December - PINK DAY - Christmas is for giving - All cheerleaders to arrive at 5.15pm.
  • Monday 21st December - Bag Packing ASDA Patchway
  • Tuesday 22nd December - Bag Packing ASDA Patchway - NO Hawks - Merry Christmas
  • Friday 25th December - NO TUMBLE class - Merry Christmas
  • Sunday 27th December - Crusaders will open for stunting and tumbling 5 - 6.30pm for silver and red and 6.30 - 8pm for Blue and Black - This class is optional and is included in the price of your December fees so if you need a break and do not want to attend that is okay, however if you are desperate for cheer and some exercise over the Christmas break and a catch up with your cheer friends come along.
  • Wednesday 30th December - No Dance - Merry Christmas
  • Tuesday 29th December - No Hawks - Merry Christmas


January 2010

  • Friday 1st January - No TUMBLE Class - Happy New Year
  • Sunday 3rd January – January fees due in - Black Team pay £25 fees for cheer this month. Tumble pay as you go again £5 per session
  • Tuesday 5th January - No HAWKS
  • Tuesday 12th January - No HAWKS
  • Tuesday 19th January - No Hawks
  • Wednesday 20th January - No Dance - Happy 21st Sarah - We will refund this class to your credit list.
  • Friday 29th January - No TUMBLE class

February 2010

  • Sunday 7th February - February fees due in and and Cheer Extreme tickets go on sale - Tumble fees pay as you go again this month £5 per session

March 2010

  • Sunday 7th March – March fees due in
  • Saturday 13th March – Cheer Extreme show times 1pm,4pm and 7pm all cheerleaders to be present at all shows.
  • Sunday 14th March - Day off no practice - Happy Mothers Day
  • Sunday 21st March – FC Nationals Entry Fees due in cost TBC

April 2010

  • Sunday 4th April – April fees due in and ICC Nationals competitor fees due in cost £20 per cheerleader or £35 for both cheer and dance. Anyone wishing to enter solos can at a cost of £15 per person.
  • Sunday 11th April – SWSS fees due in roughly £10 per competitor and £7 per spectator

May 2010

  • Sunday 2nd May – May fees due in and FC Nationals Bus Fees and final booking
  • Saturday 15th May – SWSS – Chew Valley School
  • Sunday 16th May – Annual 3 legged race fancy dress style – All sponsorship money will go towards helping pay for entry fees towards BCA Nationals
  • Sunday 23rd May – Sponsorship money due in and ICC Nationals Bus money

June 2010

  • Wednesday 2nd June – June fees due in
  • Friday 4th – Sunday 6th June – FC Nationals Bournemouth – Each family need to book own accommodation for this event, Crusaders teams will be staying at both the Bournemouth Seafront Travelodge and the Bournemouth Travelodge.  Please book your accommodation at the beginning of the season September 2009. All cheerleaders under the age of 15 must have an adult with them. We will be putting on two buses one leaving 9am and the other leaving 12 Noon ( It is half term so no issues with missing School).  Bus fees will be determined once we know who needs the service but we predict around £20 per person, deadline for Bus bookings is Sunday 2nd May. Entry fees for competitors and spectators tickets need to be paid for by Sunday 22nd March 2009 – costs will be confirmed when FC release the prices and we have deducted saved fundraising money. We will send one coach back on the Sunday as soon as senior teams have performed this is for anyone doing GCSE’s or A – Levels so that you don’t get back to Bristol too late. The other bus will leave after the final awards ceremony.
  • Saturday 12th June – Easter Compton Carnival – Start time 12.30pm
  • Sunday 13th June – Cheer practice cancelled – have a nice day off

July 2010

  • Sunday 4th July – July fees due in
  • Saturday 17th July – ICC Nationals Nottingham
  • Sunday 18th July - Bring a friend to cheer day FREE of charge to all your friends age 9 and under - 5 - 6pm, age 9 - 12 - 6 - 7pm, aged 13 - 15  - 7 - 8pm and aged 16+ 8 - 9pm.
  • Sunday 25th July - 1st round of Crusaders Try - Outs FREE to all existing members that Try - out on this day.

 

August 2010

  • Crusaders Dance Camp
  • Sunday 22nd or 29th August Date TBC - Sencond chance to Try - Out for Crusaders cost £5 per person.

 

All events are mandatory to competing cheerleaders / dancers. Unless otherwise stated events are all day so if you have a gym competition or another activity that day you will be expected to attend the cheer event. As stated in all previous pre Try – out material we can not chop and change teams so please make sure you can commit to all events.

 

All practices need to be attended in the lead up to the competitions in February, May, June and July anybody not attending all four practices in the lead up to the event will lose their place regardless of fees paid. (This includes T4 on the Beach which sometimes clashes so please make sure you do not buy tickets for the Sunday as you will need to be at practice) We do not have set holidays throughout the season we stop on Christmas Day and that is it unless otherwise stated in the annual calendar above.

 

Please make sure you stay on top of paying for competitions, events, fundraisers and booking accommodation and spectator tickets to avoid last minute panics. If you know you are not good at paying on time please set up payments or standing orders to pay for everything on time, our job is to coach not to chase payments.

 

More fundraising dates will appear throughout the course of the year we will update the list and highlight the event on the home page of the website to keep up to date.

 

We will arrange a coach to the ICC Southern and Nationals and  FC Nationals all other local events you will be expected to make your own way.

 

You will receive a credit for each mandatory fundraiser you attend. All profits of club fundraisers go towards uniforms etc. Once you get 15 credits you receive a T – Shirt. This year we are adding a second column to our table £ in credit. If you do extra hours of bag packing above and beyond those that our mandatory or fill more then two smartie tubes the money you raise will be added onto this space. You can use it at any time to go against competitions, fees, merchandise etc. 

 

Team parents this year – You can pass these parents on payments for things and deposits to go on your credit total. These parents have a sound knowledge of the programme and the dedication it takes to get the full benefit from this team activity. They are nearly always at the gym and happy to help out.

If you would like to organise a fundraising event great just let us know the idea and the date and we will advertise it to everyone you will get a percentage of the profits raised for organising it all and this can go on your £ credit account to help you towards paying for competitions. The more you do fundraising wise the less you have to pay.
